Splicing Modulation

At the Radboudumc, Dr. Collin and his colleague Dr. van Wijk will investigate the therapeutic potential of antisense oligonucleotide-based splicing modulation for EYS- and USH2A-associated RP. They will do this by addressing specific mutations in the EYS and USH2A genes, and test their approach in various cellular model systems as well as in tailor-made genetic zebrafish.
